If you want to learn everything about media, this is the perfect job for you! You’ll be like a floater, meaning you will be working in different departments of the company. Tasks can include anything from handling social media, editing audio, or producing a show, to the backend and operative side.
Key Responsibilities MAY Include:

Writing scripts for radio commercials

Record and edit audio for radio commercials

Handle social media
-
Represent the station at events in an upbeat, outgoing, and friendly manner

Contribute to marketing campaigns

Help come up with ideas for promoting the radio station

Get new mainstream and indie music to put in rotation
-
Schedule and book guests
-
Interview guests
-
Network and connect with different people in the industry
-
Assisting with the newsletter
-
Finding content for on-air
-
Prepare for company events
-
Interacting with the audience
-
Answering phone calls
-
Sending out and replying to emails
-
Weekly virtual meetings
Qualifications:
-
Friendly, outgoing, and hard-working personality
-
Must be pursuing a degree/certificate similar to radio/broadcasting or a graduate
-
Flexible schedule and open availability
-
Ready and willing to learn
-
Detail-oriented
-
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
-
Planning and organizing (preferred but not required)

High proficiency in Microsoft Word and ALL Social Media platforms
-
Ability to work independently and efficiently

Professionalism
-
Good at following instructions

Must be able to work at least 10 hours a week

Ability to meet deadlines
