Antonio Brown: Touchdown or Beatdown
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide Receiver, Antonio Brown is once again on the news and it’s not good.
According to Yahoo Sports, Antonio Brown was kicked out of a joint practice after getting into a punching match against Tennessee Titans Defensive Back, Chris Jackson.
If you're a football fan who follows the NFL then you know about Antonio Brown's past conflicts surrounding his NFL career and personal life.
In the span of 3 years he’s been traded, released twice, suspended 8 games, hit with lawsuits over damaged property, and sued for sexual assault from his former trainer Brittney Taylor.
Through all of that, he was signed by the Buccaneers during the 2020 season and had a decent year playing 8 games; starting 4 with 45 Receptions, 483 yards, and 4 Rec Tds.
In the midst of all the chaos, Antonio Brown achieved a huge accomplishment with the Bucs, by winning his first ever Super Bowl - thanks to the guidance of the Bucs' quarterback, Tom Brady.
With the help of Tom Brady, Brown seemed to have made a complete 180, however, it seems he’s turning back into his old ways.
During a one on one drill with Brown and Jackson, Brown made the comment, “Don’t hold me out here” in which Jackson replied, “Don’t push me in my face.” Antonio Brown then ripped off his helmet and landed Chris Jackson with a left hook to his jaw.
This isn’t the first time that an altercation has been reported on behalf of Antonio Brown. In the past, reports show Brown getting into altercations with other players in the NFL, including teammates and his former teammate, Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger.
Even though he returned later to practice for 7 on 7 drills, this could be another setback for him that could lead to him being disciplined by his team.
