From Successful Coach and Broadcaster to exiting the NFL in a flash

Once a Super Bowl-winning coach and outstanding NFL broadcaster Jon Gruden have lost everything. Thanks to emails he sent back from 2011 about specific topics like Joe Biden, Roger Goddell, homophobia, etc., he's lost his job and everything else.

According to TMZ, not only has Jon Gruden lost his job as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, but he's lost his sponsorship to the shoe company Skechers.

Furthermore, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers pulled him from the Ring of Honor, the team he coached from 2002-2008, and won Super Bowl 37 on January 26, 2003.

At approximately 2:55 pm, the organization said about the decision saying, "While we acknowledge Jon Gruden's contributions on the field, his actions go against our core values as an organization. Therefore, he will no longer continue to be a member of the Buccaneers Ring of Honor.

The email that started all of the backlashes was when he talked about NFLPA Executive Director Demaurice Smith, saying, "Dumboriss Smith has lips the size of Michelin (sic) tires."

Another infamous email that Jon Gruden sent out was in 2014 towards NFL Commissioner Roger Goddell. After pressuring Former LA Rams coach Jeff Fisher to draft Linebacker Michael Sam, who came out as gay that year, Gruden called Goddell a "faggot” and a "clueless anti-football pussy” and shouldn't have pressured Fisher to draft "queers: talking about Michael Sam.

During Obama's reelection, he also targeted former Vice and current U.S. President Joe Biden called Biden "a nervous clueless pussy”. And then in 2015, when former NFL safety Eric Reid kneeled during the National Anthem to protest against Police Brutality, he said that Reid should've been fired.

There are more emails he sent out but to sum up everything; he said so many derogatory and explicit emails that led to him resigning as coach of the Raiders. His comments were an act of racism, homophobia, sexism, transphobia, everything that you can name in the book.

Before officially leaving the Raiders Monday, he released a statement saying, "I have resigned as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. I love the Raiders and do not want to be a distraction. Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff, and fans of Raider Nation. I'm sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone."
