Harvest Moon of 2021: A Sight to See!




The Harvest Moon obtained its' name from providing moonlight in the early evening for farmers harvesting summer crops and is known as an inspiration among song writers. The Harvest Moon will rise tonight as this year's last full moon before this year's autumnal equinox.



According to Nasa, the moon will appear full for about three days and will last until Wednesday Morning.



The Harvest Moon is set to rise Monday evening above the eastern horizon around 7:13 pm and complete its' full phase by 7:55 pm.






The Harvest Moon is set to rise in the constellation of Pisces and will indicate a rapid shortening of the day in the Northern Hemisphere.
