If you are interested in the fundamental elements of social media, then you should apply! You will learn the ins and outs of what makes a good social media manager by getting hands-on experience. Tasks may include anything from creating and curating content to responding to subscribers.
Key Responsibilities MAY Include:

Assist in developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to create and maintain the company’s brand

Manage and oversee social media content
-
Represent the station at events in an upbeat, outgoing, and friendly manner
-
Measure the success of every social media campaign
-
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
-
Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer or Hootsuite
-
Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Promotions teams
-
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
-
Communicate with industry professionals, influencers, and the stations’ audience via social media to create a strong network
-
Provide constructive feedback
-
Adhere to rules and regulations
-
Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
-
SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics reports
-
Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
-
Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
-
Weekly virtual meetings
Qualifications:

Friendly, outgoing, and hard-working personality

Must be pursuing a degree/certificate similar to broadcasting/digital marketing or a graduate

Flexible schedule and open availability
-
Ready and willing to learn

Detail-oriented
-
Excellent written and spoken communication skills

Planning and organizing (preferred but not required)

High proficiency in Microsoft Word and ALL Social Media platforms

Ability to work independently and efficiently

Good at following instructions

Must be able to work at least 10 hours a week
